Report a correction

Accuracy matters more than speed. If something on a memorial page is wrong, incomplete or misattributed, please tell us.

What to include

The page address or the memorial name and locality.
The detail you believe is incorrect, quoted exactly.
What it should say instead.
Any source that supports the change, such as a record, register entry, newspaper item or document.
Your name and how to reach you, if you are willing to be contacted about the change.

How corrections are handled

Reports are assessed against the sources cited on the page and any new evidence supplied. If a change is made, the page's last-reviewed date is updated and the change is recorded in the audit history. If a change is not made, we will explain why.

Privacy and cultural requests

Requests concerning living people, personal privacy or culturally sensitive material are prioritised, and content can be restricted while a request is assessed.
