Remembered Here publishes historic material only where the rights position is clear.

Contributed material

Contributors confirm that they own the material they submit or hold a licence permitting its publication, and they grant Remembered Here permission to publish it as part of the memorial record. Ownership stays with the contributor or rightsholder.

Credits

Photographs, documents and audio carry a credit naming the source or rightsholder wherever that is known. Where provenance is uncertain, the page says so rather than implying ownership.

Site content

The Remembered Here name, logo and site design are ours. Story text and images belong to their contributors and rightsholders, and are published with permission.

Raising a rights concern

If you hold rights in material published here and want it credited differently, licensed differently or removed, contact us through the families and rightsholders enquiry type. Material can be withdrawn while a concern is assessed.
